Matt deFouw is a seasoned technology leader with over 20 years of experience in driving innovation and business transformation. As the co-founder and Chair of Matrix.fun, he is building a platform that enables any token to be used in skill-based tournaments across popular AAA and casual games, giving players and communities a way to PvP in-game, rather than on the trading charts, while also bringing a real use case to their tokens.
Previously, Matt served as CTO of 4th-IR and Canadian Country Head for the Trestle Group, where he led teams in delivering cutting-edge solutions that built lasting value for clients and partners.
After attending Computer Science at Thompson Rivers University, Matt has successfully launched and exited multiple ventures, including ConstructionOnline.com, Gateway Express (acquired by GlobalPayNet), Bignition (acquired by AutoTrader), and BitReturn.
